The story.

Tess Unlimited supports children born with cleft lip and palate in Guatemala, and the families who walk that road with them.

We filmed two documentaries about their work: a long edition for Guatemala and a short edition for the Netherlands, built from recent trips, the organization's own archive, and interviews in Mexico, Guatemala and by international call.

When Tess Unlimited turned eighteen, in La Antigua Guatemala, we were in charge of everything on screen that night, and of the photographs.

What we made

10–15 minutes and 3–7 minutes, with music, color grading and English/Spanish subtitles.
